By downloading or using Syntax, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

## the service

Syntax is a fitness tracking app that stores your workout data locally on your device. We provide optional AI coaching features and cloud-free data storage.

## subscriptions

Syntax offers auto-renewable subscriptions for Syntax Pro:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device settings:

## ai features

Syntax Pro includes AI coaching powered by third-party AI providers. AI responses are generated by external models and may not always be accurate. AI coaching is not a substitute for professional medical or fitness advice.

## your data

Your workout data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or any other cause.

## acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to circumvent subscription restrictions, reverse-engineer the app, or abuse the AI features (e.g., excessive automated requests).

## disclaimer

Syntax is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use the app and any AI-generated advice at your own risk.

## limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syntax and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

## changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
